IMPORTANT — DO NOT SHIP UNATTENDED PACKAGES DIRECTLY TO THE EXPO

Shipments may not be sent unattended directly to the Latin Tyre & Auto Parts Expo or Panama Convention Center. The Expo and PCC do not provide a receiving service or warehouse, and there will be no representative available to accept, sign for, store, or assume responsibility for unattended exhibitor shipments.

If an exhibitor arranges its own freight, shipping, or customs clearance, the shipment must first be delivered to the exhibitor’s local contact, representative, freight forwarder, hotel, warehouse, or other receiving party in Panama. That party is responsible for receiving the shipment and arranging delivery of the products to the Panama Convention Center during the authorized delivery times.

If the exhibitor does not have a local contact or receiving arrangement in Panama, the exhibitor must contact Arturo Araúz, S.A. to coordinate receipt, customs/logistics services, and delivery to the Expo. Applicable fees are the responsibility of the exhibitor.

If you're bringing samples as carry-on or checked luggage, please note:

This process is allowed but complicated and causes delays - due to customs in Panama upon arrival at the Panama Tocumen Airport.

To speed up clearance, you must notify our customs broker, Arturo Araúz S.A., before your arrival with:

The fee for this service is $47.50 per luggage

To avoid delays, we recommend sending samples via DHL, FedEx, or UPS, addressed to Arturo Araúz S.A. Shipments should arrive 2 weeks before the expo.

If you still plan to bring samples in your luggage, be sure to:

  1. Bring a commercial invoice (see here a sample)
  2. Label clearly on the commercial invoice: “ITEMS ONLY FOR EXHIBITION – NOT FOR SALE – INVOICE WITHOUT COMMERCIAL VALUE”
  3. Arturo Arauz S.A. will handle transport to the venue with customs supervision.

NOTE: Taxes may be charged on the goods - subject to airport customs upon arrival.

Arturo Arauz offers the service of being at the airport to help exhibitors carry promotional items brought with them.
