Shipping Instructions

We strongly recommend that you ship using customs broker Arturo Arauz S.A., who will arrange shipping to Panama.

Also, note to ship your items IN ADVANCE to avoid shipment delays and to allow customs to process.

Shipments to Panama:

Exhibitors can select ANY shipping company to ship their items to Panama, but please notify Arturo Arauz S.A.

To avoid delays or problems with shipping and Panama customs, we suggest that ALL items go through the customs broker: Arturo Arauz S.A., who will arrange the delivery to the convention center.

Maritime shipments arrive at Balboa Panama Ports Company, Panamá or Manzanillo International Terminal Colón.

Air shipments: Tocumen International Cargo Airport.

Receiving shipments in Panama:

BY AIR:

We recommend your items arrive in Panama 2 weeks before the event date.

BY SEA:

Consolidated cargo: the merchandise must arrive in Panama 2 weeks prior to the event date.
Intact container: the merchandise must arrive in Panama 1 week prior to the assembly date.
Once in Panama, Arturo Arauz, S.A. will dispatch and store your shipment for delivery to your booth at the Centro de Convenciones Amador (Panama Convention Center).

Storage

We offer exhibitors FREE storage of boxed items in the shipment receiving area of the Panama Convention Center on August 7-15, 2026.

All goods must:

Be in pallets or boxes.
Have the appropriate label.

If you're bringing samples as carry-on or checked luggage, please note:

This process is allowed but complicated and causes delays – due to customs in Panama upon arrival at the Panama Tocumen Airport.

To speed up clearance, you must notify our customs broker, Arturo Araúz S.A., before your arrival with:

Your flight number
Date and time of arrival
A copy of the passenger’s passport

The fee for this service is $42.50 per luggage

To avoid delays, we recommend sending samples via DHL, FedEx, or UPS, addressed to Arturo Araúz S.A. Shipments should arrive 2 weeks before the expo.

If you still plan to bring samples in your luggage, be sure to:

Bring a commercial invoice (see here a sample)
Label clearly on the commercial invoice: “ITEMS ONLY FOR EXHIBITION – NOT FOR SALE – INVOICE WITHOUT COMMERCIAL VALUE”
Arturo Araúz S.A. will handle transport to the venue with customs supervision.

NOTE: Taxes may be charged on the goods – subject to airport customs upon arrival.

Arturo Arauz offers the service of being at the airport to help exhibitors carry promotional items brought with them.

Boxes to be returned at show end:

Exhibitors may store empty boxes (if properly labeled) in the shipment receiving area of the Panama Convention Center between August 7-14, 2026.
The Expo staff will return the empty boxes to the exhibitors at the end of the fair August 14, 2026 after 5 PM. for your post-presentation packaging and shipping needs.

If you will be bringing your own tires, wheels, auto parts, lubricants, or other products directly to the Latin Tyre & Auto Parts Expo:

Please make sure you have all required documentation available when entering the Panama Convention Center.

⚠ The following requirements ONLY apply if you DID NOT use our official customs broker, Arturo Arauz. His team already has the necessary documentation for your shipment on file.

Please have the following documents available onsite:

Complete list of all products being brought to the expo (including tire sizes and quantities, if applicable)
Commercial Invoice / Purchase Invoice
Bill of Lading (if applicable)
Documents showing that the products have been legally imported and cleared through Panamanian customs (nationalized)
Proof of Ownership / Title (for vehicles or equipment, if applicable)
Copies of bank wire transfers or payment records related to the products
Copy of your Exhibitor Contract

⚠️ Exhibitors who arranged their own shipping, customs clearance, or transportation are responsible for ensuring all required documents are available if requested by convention center staff, customs authorities, or event management.
